Beware! Dr Rogers refuses to fill prescriptions on medications she carries in office with online pharmacies such as 1-800 Petmeds. According to Alex, one of her office staff, the online pharmacy recieves the medications illeagally, but Dr Rogers is shown as a registared Vet with the service???? So this means you are locked in to their prices! Furthermore, the lack of customer service and professionalism is what drove me to this write this review. Very disappointing considering how many referrals and good things I have told so many people about them, I felt that I had good rapport with Dr and staff i brought all 3 of my animals here (2 dogs and 1 cat). I truly regret it, I was treated like a total stranger when I simply tried to get a medication for my dog that Dr Rogers prescribed through an online pharmacy that could ship it to me since I recently moved to the Houston,TX area. When i was told that I would have to buy through them, I requested it be mailed to me at my cost of course, I was told no can't do that because it could get lost in the mail. Finally,I was able to get the med since a friend of mine in Red Oak was willing to help me out and ship it. Surprisingly, the medicine came to me just fine and was not lost in the mail. One of the worst customer service experiences, I truly thought they cared, I was mistaken. When I spoke directly with the Doctor about my concerns she could've cared less, in fact she complained to me stating her staff member, Alex, said I was unkind and disrespectful to her . I was not happy that I was not getting any kind of customer assistance, but I was not unkind or disrespectful, more like completely hurt over this. Shame on Dr Rogers and her staff, I am not the only customer to experience this treatment as explained in one other review here and more on yellow pages. Best wishes to all!
Great compassion to animals and the owners too great to know people like her exist employee's are great will continue to recommend anyone I know to her companion care
While having the convience of veterinary service in Red Oak, TX, the absolute lack of professionalism from both front desk receptionist and Vet is seriously lacking. I have been here 3 times now and every time I've been here I have been treated quite dismissively for asking questions. As a healthcare provider myself, one knows having a gentle mannerism toward inquiries from 'parents' is an absolute part of customer service! To produce an attitude because of questioning the services, procedures, and medications is inane! No one (myself included) should produce a "God-like" complex. Everyone there definitely needs a class in humility and customer service!!!
One if the best Vet clinics we have found around here. Very little wait time. Staff answered all questions so we could understand. And very nice people as well.
I really loved the doctor, she was clear about everything she was doing with my pet and everything that was going on. Many vets I've been to in the past are just in-and-out as quickly as possible, but Dr. Rhea was very hands-on and took her time which I appreciated. The assistant/receptionist was also very helpful. My only gripe is that they don't sell the specific heartworm prevention I use for my dogs so I have to get it from a different vet, but I won't take any stars off for that :)
